BAND BIO

After doubt broke his faith and love tore his hope Jon Dwyer fought off his demons with a pen and paper.  From his struggle the bittersweet songs of Someday Rumble were born fall of 2013.  Shortly after, just as Jack White threw inexperienced Meg White on the White Strips drums behind him, Jon threw long friend Andy Decker up on the throne to learn the ways of the drums too. After a little practice and a little more luck the pair created the alt. blues rock band Someday Rumble.

After months of writing, pedal collecting, and knob turning, Someday Rumble hit the ground running January 2014. The duo recorded with engineers Ben Mercer and Matt Gaylord at Wet Bandit Studios and released their first ep "Dark_Old_War" March of 2014. The ep's focus and title are on man's battle with himself, the dark old war. The ep is littered with comtemplative lyrics like: "these claws I have for hands. Do they make me?" Taunting even the strongest of willed to question their world views. If you thought the lyrics were powerful, the guitar riffs shake the you even further with their all out or toned down polarization

After the Ep release the band went into full swing writing new material, collaborating with other musicians, and blasting blues rock throughout the south.  They are on schedule to tour in the North East this summer.  Keep your ear to the ground and stay tuned for more updates.
